Hollywood Reporter looks back to the blacklist

The latest issue of Hollywood Reporter is dedicated to the blacklist, and includes in addition to several articles a five-minute video with interviews. Among those blacklisted, the “Hollywood Ten,” was Lincoln Brigade veteran Alvah Bessie.

    There were many many other Hollywood writers and lesser-known other film related people who were blacklisted, lives ruined.

    Communist [CPUSA ?] Attorney Martin Popper allegedly was employed by parents [Nathan H.Schwerner/Anne Siegel] of slain civil rights activist Mickey Schwerner in late June, 1964 as family attorney.
